They aim to drive sustainability in the fashion industry in the region by developing a community-based peer-to-peer marketplace app, Copped, where people can buy and sell secondhand clothing at ease.

iPlant is an agritech startup based in Jordan, focused on revolutionizing sustainable food production in the MENA region. Specializing in indoor vertical farming and hydroponics, we offer cutting-edge urban farming solutions that address critical regional challenges. Our services integrate advanced automation, smart agriculture using AI, microbial agriculture research, LED lighting systems, and solar energy. Dekenet Al Nes

Dekenet Al Nes is a social, economic and environmental venture in the form of grocery shops that provide high quality of locally sourced products offered in bulk quantities without packaging and sold in an affordable and sustainable way. Customers bring their empty containers, refill them with their desired quantities of products, then weigh & pay. Dekenet Al Nes is creating a new consumption pattern by offering customized service that guarantees social profitability and sustainability.

INNOVATING GREEN TECHNOLOGY (IGT)

IGT is a Lebanese enterprise developing innovative green energy systems improving the efficiency and reliability of water, energy, and food sectors. IGT has several products and services including: PV Solar Systems, Solar Water Heating Systems, Solar-Based Hydroponics and Aquaponics, Fish Farming, Solar Heated Poultry Houses, Solar-Based Wastewater Treatments, and Solar Mobile Water Pumping.

OPTIMAIN

With over 1,400 Megawatt of installed solar energy across Jordan, OPTIMAIN has become one of the first companies that is specialized in solar systems operation and maintenance in the country; with the infrastructure and technical experience to professionally maintain and optimize residential, commercial, industrial, governmental, and educational solar systems. Following services are being implemented by OPTIMAIN; preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, monitoring, testing and commissioning, and cleaning.

Sustain Ability S.A.L

Sustain Ability S.A.L. is partnering up with 16 municipalities in Mount Lebanon to provide a holistic waste management solution, including residential and B2B recyclable waste collection, operation of Yalla Return stores (in partnership with Nadeera Technologies SARL) and street sweeping; all of which are enabled through comprehensive awareness campaigns. In addition, operating a new composting plant by Dawerr is in the pipeline.

Midorization Project

Midorization Project is a Japanese registered social enterprise focusing on forest regeneration and ecosystem restoration in Jordan using the ground-breaking Miyawaki method. This method is a purely nature-based solution. Through mimicking the way nature works, it offers a low-cost, high impact solution, and does not have any negative side effects as well as is accessible for people and communities to start implementing at a grass-roots level. Midorization Project does not only regenerate forests, but more importantly, spreads awareness, action and results, so people will gradually be convinced that we are all an integral part of the solution.

Hypo Farm

We fundamentally transform agriculture by growing delicious, safe and healthy food all year round in an environmentally sustainable and socially responsible manner. Cultiva

“Cultiva” is an Eco-Sustainable agriculture business providing potting soil and circular economic model. The company produces potting soil coming from natural products that is rich in nutrients and convert agricultural green waste to soil amendments that provide the ideal structure for a healthy plant. Their soil is offered in 3 sizes, 20 L, 50 L, and 70 L. Cultiva is located in Kwakh, Hermel, Lebanon.

KawaFungo

KawaFungo is an environmental, recycling, social startup aimed at reusing the coffee grounds to grow mushrooms. Less than 1 % of brewed coffee beans is actually consumed in the coffee cups, while the rest lands in the garbage as coffee grounds. Coffee grounds make a perfect substrate to grow mushrooms, as they are packed full of nutrients and minerals. KawaFungo creates a sustainable system and reestablish natural cycles in which we collect the coffee grounds waste and then process it to grow mushrooms.
